Jurisdicción Inmobiliaria has exclusive power to see and protect property rights and its registry in the Dominican Republic, from the first measure request and during the complete live cycle of the property, with the exception stated in the legal framework.
The real estate or property sector is regulated mainly by the law 108-05 of the Registro Inmobiliario (Property registry) of March 23 2005 (modified from the Law 51-07 of april 23 de 2007), which norms the complete registry of the property rights in the Dominican territory.
